When I started The Aroma Lodge, I wanted each product to feel thoughtful, not just in scent, but in what it was made from. Creating something beautiful for your home shouldn't come at the cost of your health or the planet. That’s why choosing soy wax was one of the first decisions I made, and one of the most important.
A Cleaner Burn
Soy wax is made from soybeans, a natural, renewable crop. Unlike paraffin wax (a by-product of petroleum), soy burns cleanly and produces very little soot. That means no black marks on your walls or toxins in the air, just gentle light and calming fragrance.
My aim has always been to create peaceful moments at home, and it starts with peace of mind.
Better for the Planet
The rustic roots of The Aroma Lodge are inspired by nature, from sea air to woodland walks, so sustainability runs through everything I do. Soy wax is biodegradable, renewable, and gentler on the environment than petroleum-based waxes.
Pair that with recyclable kraft packaging, plastic-free options, and small-batch pouring, and every melt or candle becomes a small act of care for the Earth.
Longer Lasting Scents
Soy wax holds fragrance exceptionally well. It delivers a consistent scent throw and lasts longer than many alternatives. That means you get the most out of your candle or wax melt, both in burn time and in beautiful aroma.
Because each product is hand-poured in small batches, I can carefully test every blend to ensure you’re getting the best scent experience, every time.
Why It’s Worth It
It’s easy to find inexpensive candles in shops, often made with paraffin wax, synthetic fragrances, and produced in huge quantities. But those lower prices often come with a trade-off: fast-burning candles with little scent, made from ingredients that may not be the kindest to your home or your health.
At The Aroma Lodge, I choose quality over quantity. Every candle and melt is hand-poured using soy wax, carefully blended with fragrance, and tested in small batches to ensure it fills your space, not just the first time you light it, but again and again.
Because I believe scent should be more than just a background, it should be part of how you feel at home.
